hey -- you are cool --

there's only one decent fish market around here where i can get some good local sea bass -- and that is caught mostly up Fort Bragg way, or down in the Monterey Bay -- we generally see plenty of fresh wild Halibut, from Alaska i guess -- and Salmon comes and goes -- not always available fresh and wild .... of course Dungeness crab season is right around the corner -- but there is no softshell out here -- i kind of knew it was out of season by now.....

heard of Paul Johnson? (no reason why you would have really) well.... he's pretty cool, he is kind of the Alice Waters of Fish, if you know what i mean -- it's all very Berkeley/California http://www.montereyfish.com/>
